Yes way San Jose: an overview of the past fortnight

Two weeks ago, I packed my backpack and a carry-on and flew out to San Jose International Airport. It's an adventure for absolute sure. For the most part, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Fishing trip in Montana on the Missouri River: Highlight! I caught this guy my first REEL time fly fishing (ha...ha....get it? Don't carp on about my bad punnery. Okay I'll stop). Trips when I was 8 don't count since I had to "re"learn how to fly cast. But this rainbow is 20 inches and I was pretty proud.

And Alison visited! I love my roommated and miss her so much. :') I was so so happy I got to see her again. :)
First day we went to Santa Cruz.

Then the ill fated but still overall very AWESOME trip to San Francisco (click on link to read about it)

We went to Big Basin and Castle Rock State Park. I'd never been to either! They were cool.

Then Alison left. :'( I'll upload pictures of our last day later. I haven't quite gotten there yet, unfortunately.

So it's been fabulous, and THAT'S what Madeline's been doing. Sending everyone love from the silicon valley,
Madeline.

PS for those who are interested. I know I super am but anyways...
Today, I got a letter PACKAGE from Spencer. The picture is actually of me reading a letter last week that arrived while I was fishing and got to read in Santa Cruz (because that was my first day back).

Anyway this was so sweet I just had to share.
He wrote this on a Toblerone triange:

"If I had to choose between an infinity of chocolate and a minute of Madi...
...
I would pick an infinity of Madi! And then run away with her before they realized what I said."
